Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length original research papers. In submitting a manuscript to CVIP 2026, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another journal, conference, or workshop during the review period. In such a case, the paper will be rejected without review.
Papers must be electronically submitted to the Microsoft Research (CMT) paper submission portal before the deadline expires without exception.
The proceedings of the conference will be published by Scopus Indexed – Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series*.
The series is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, and Scopus. Volumes are also generally submitted for inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
For your convenience, we have summarized in the “Author Guidelines” document how a proceedings paper should be structured, how elements (headings, figures, references) should be formatted using our predefined styles, etc. We also give some insight on how your paper will be typeset at CVIP.
Authors must use the manuscript template specified here. The LaTeX and Word templates can be downloaded from the following links:
The manuscript has to be uploaded online at the CVIP 2026 Microsoft Research paper submission portal at the following link:
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
